Our charity shop, "Twice But Nice", opened on the 3rd of December 2019, and is adjacent to the Community Café at Community Connections. We sell a range of bric-a-brac items, handbags, jewellery, cushions, clothes, shoes, kitchenware, DVDs/CDs, books, children's toys & games. It is now fully staffed and is open Monday to Thursday at 9:30 - 13:30, and Friday 10:00 - 13:00.
If you have anything you no longer need, or clothes you no longer wear, why not bring them in to be sold at our shop? We are accepting kitchenware, Bric-a-Brac, toys and games, as well as shoes, scarfs, gloves, and other winter clothing, but we cannot take in electrical items as we don't have the facilities to PAT test them, and we do not need any CDs or DVDs either. If you bring in a donation you will receive a free hot drink! All money raised in the shop go to the Community Connections charity.
We may have something interesting just for you. So why not pop in when you're passing through next and have a coffee in the Community Café whilst you're here! We are situated off the Bath Road (just down from the Secondary School) in Sturminster Newton, DT10 1JF.
Money raised through your donations go directly to funding the many projects and special events run by the charity to help those people in our community who are vulnerable and in need of special help. Therefore, your donations are directly helping the community and making a difference to the disabled, disadvantaged and elderly people in the North Dorset area. The charity shop is run by volunteers so you know that all donations go to where it is most needed.
