Fancy volunteering in our charity shop? Our charity shop, Twice But Nice, is crying out for new volunteers to join our happy, friendly team. The shop is on the site of the Community Connects centre in Sturminster Newton and helps to raise vital funds for the charity.
The shop, located adjacent to the community café, sells an eclectic mix of pre-loved items including clothing, clothing accessories, Bric-a-Brac, kitchenware, CDs/DVDs and many other things. We need someone to man the shop on either Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays mornings between the hours of 9:30am and 1;30pm.
Your responsibilities will be to keep the shop tidy, sort through new donations, display stock in the shop, pricing donations, help manage the store room, and work on the till as well as, when weather permits, to display stock outside the entrance or courtyard using your flair and skill to attract customers into the shop.
